The hotel has a pleasant Spanish architectural style with arched columns, a terracotta tiled roof and woodwork details. The wide, horizontal lines of the buildings make the lobby and adjacent bar an inviting place to lounge and relax with a cocktail.
The main building is built around the attractive pool and surrounded by tropical vegetation – it will be hard to decide from one day to the next whether to swim in the pool or the sea. The hotel also faces one of the better parts of Varadero’s beach, including a small promenade with cast iron benches.
Across from Cuatro Palmas is a small shopping center, which contains one of the most popular nightspots in Varadero (simply called Calle 62), with lots of live music. Just steps away, the almost life-sized sculptures of the one, the only, the Beatles, stand before the bar-restaurant named after them.
Hotel Cuatro Palmas is the perfect hotel for those guests who like to keep one foot in the comfort zone of an all-inclusive beach hotel and the other in the local (night) life.
