Bellevue Palma Real is the first hotel in Cuba to be converted into a place specializing in Cuban music and dance with much of the activity focused on the new and exciting BlueBay Salsa Club.
With a concept inspired by Hard Rock Hotels — with a Cuban twist — the BelleVue Palma Real offers a unique setting where guests can enjoy, dance, learn, and play the music and dance of the island. The program of classes fills the whole day and is managed by professional dance teachers as well as professionals who teach percussion, and various musical instruments.
Arriving in the lobby, you’ll enter The Cuban Music Hall of Fame with audiovisual projections showcasing rhythms from different Cuban eras. Live musical presentations are scheduled for the end of the afternoons with renowned artists and traditional groups. Distinct wings of the hotel are dedicated to different themes such as Cuban carnival in full swing with recorded music and projections of congas, mambo, cha cha chá, guarachas and guaguancó, among other dances. Latin jazz and bolero have also found their space here.
There’s also a party every week by the pool with a folkloric Afro-Cuban group, alongside concerts, exhibitions and conferences about music, dance and Cuban culture.
There are salsa classes for children, and a salsa show three times a week. Right next door is the Havana Club, the en vogue Varadero nightclub, free to Palma Real guests (drinks not included).
There are 4 pools found in two different areas (entertainment, and relaxation area), including a pool for kids. The hotel also features restaurants, cafes, bars, and a short distance away (by foot), the fringes of the most beautiful beach in Varadero.
