Located directly on a beautiful, wind-swept beach on the north coast of Las Tunas province in Cuba’s eastern region, Brisas Covarrubias is set up as a village where you can enjoy the privilege of being secluded from any other tourist development; the ideal holiday getaway!
The rooms are distributed among buildings integrated into the natural environment, with all modern amenities necessary for having a good time. The site boasts a six-kilometer-long coral reef 1.5 kilometers off the coast, providing major enticement for divers.
At the far end of the resort is Laguna Real (Royal Lagoon), which has pink shallows due to the microorganisms calling it home; this is a food source for flocks of birds, including gannets and pink flamingoes, among others.
At night, the Solarena Discotheque - in the middle of the sea and accessed by boat - is the gathering spot for guests, who can also enjoy other recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, beach volleyball courts, tennis courts and billiards.
In addition, a thatched-roof restaurant on the beach serves excellent dishes to visitors who can’t pull themselves from the sun and sand; other services such as massage, mud therapy and acupuncture are provided by experts in those fields.
